According to Daily Post Nigeria (dailypost.ng), the Jigawa State Police Command has arrested a motorcycle-snatching syndicate for allegedly killing nine people and stealing 33 motorcycles across three states – Kaduna, Kano, and Jigawa. The suspects were apprehended following investigations into a series of violent crimes in the region. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Shi’isu Adam, this syndicate specialized in motorcycle snatching, receiving stolen property, and other violent crimes across the affected states.
The Punch Newspapers (punchng.com) also reported on this incident, detailing that the suspects were arrested in Jigawa, where they are said to have killed nine people and stolen 33 motorcycles. The Jigawa Police Command is yet to disclose when this crime syndicate began operating.
