This call was made in response to growing tensions among Oyo politicians, with accusations of name-calling and lack of substantive debate on critical issues affecting the state.
According to Punch Newspapers, the CCII believes that such unproductive behavior detracts from the important tasks at hand. The group emphasized that it is essential for politicians to engage in meaningful discourse about the challenges facing Oyo State and offer viable solutions.
