CAN Mourns Late Rev. William Okoye of ACFM Worldwide

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has expressed its condolences following the death of Reverend William Okoye, a prominent figure in the Apostolic Church of Faith Mission Worldwide. According to reports by The Guardian Nigeria News, CAN described Rev. Okoye as a man of peace and unity who served his church with dedication.

‘Rev. Okoye was a pillar of our faith and a beacon of hope for many. His passing is a great loss not only to the Apostolic Church of Faith Mission Worldwide but also to the Christian community in Nigeria,’ said CAN President, Rev. Samson Ayokunle.

Rev. Okoye’s death comes at a time when the church is facing numerous challenges, including the ongoing debates over religious tolerance and the role of religion in Nigerian politics. His passing is expected to leave a significant void in the church leadership.

The cause of Rev. Okoye’s death has not been disclosed. The Apostolic Church of Faith Mission Worldwide has not yet issued a statement regarding funeral arrangements.
