Delta Police Nab 95 Suspected Cultists, Recover Firearms

In a significant move against cultism in Delta State, the state police command has arrested 95 suspected cultists in coordinated raids across the state. According to Punch Newspapers, the arrests were made over the past week, and five firearms and ammunition were recovered from the suspects. This operation comes amidst concerns over the increasing violence associated with cult activities in the state. The police command has not provided details on the cult groups involved or when the facility began operating. This development is significant in the fight against cultism in Delta State, a region that has been plagued by cult-related violence for years. It remains to be seen if this operation will lead to a reduction in the level of violence and bring some semblance of peace to the affected communities.
