Empowering Businesses: Adeyanju on Helping SMEs Access Funds and Grow

In an interview with the Independent Newspaper Nigeria, Adeyanju, a renowned entrepreneur, shed light on his organisation’s mission to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria. According to the Independent Newspaper Nigeria, Adeyanju’s organisation aims to facilitate access to funds for these businesses, thereby fostering growth and development.

Adeyanju highlighted the critical role SMEs play in Nigeria’s economy, stating that they contribute significantly to employment and income generation. He emphasized the need for SMEs to have access to adequate funding to realise their potential.

However, access to funding remains a significant challenge for many SMEs in Nigeria. Adeyanju acknowledged this issue, stating that his organisation is committed to addressing this challenge by providing guidance and resources to help SMEs navigate the funding landscape.

Adeyanju’s organisation is not the only player in the SME funding space in Nigeria. Other organisations, such as the Bank of Industry and the Nigerian Export-Import Bank, also offer funding options for SMEs. However, Adeyanju believes that his organisation’s approach sets it apart, focusing on providing personalised support to SMEs to help them succeed.

The Independent Newspaper Nigeria did not specify when Adeyanju’s organisation began its operations or provide details on its funding model. Nevertheless, Adeyanju’s commitment to supporting SMEs in Nigeria is commendable and aligns with the government’s push to promote SME growth in the country.
