Aide to Governor Alia Admonishes Kwankwaso over Kano-Benue Rhetoric

According to a report by Punch Newspapers, an aide to Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia has called out former Kano Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso for his criticisms of Benue and urged him to focus on politics within his own state.

The admonition comes after a series of public exchanges between the two politicians, with Kwankwaso previously accusing Benue of having a history of violence and instability. Alia’s aide, in turn, has asked Kwankwaso to direct his attention towards addressing issues in Kano.

The exchange highlights ongoing tensions between the two states and reflects the polarized political landscape in Nigeria. While it remains unclear whether this rhetoric will escalate or de-escalate, readers in both Kano and Benue should stay informed about developments in their respective states’ politics.
