The Lagos State Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Hon ThankGod Christopher Ibeh, has expressed optimism about the party’s strategies to secure National Assembly seats in Lagos during the 2027 elections. In an interview at his developmental agenda unveiling event, Ibeh hinted at ‘surprises’ that APGA is preparing for the upcoming polls. According to the Tribune Online, Ibeh stated, ‘[APGA] will spring surprises in Lagos.’ The exact nature of these surprises remains unclear. The APGA candidate is running for Amuwo-Odofin Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Ibeh’s comments follow a period of political jostling in Lagos, with various parties vying for influence and votes. As Nigeria moves towards the 2027 elections, parties are ramping up their campaigns and strategies to capture key seats in the bustling metropolis.
