Blessing CEO Refutes Drug, Smoking, and Alcohol Use Allegations

After being released from detention last week, Nigerian businesswoman Blessing CEO has spoken out against allegations that she has a drug, smoking, or alcohol problem.

The claims, which originated on social media, were made by the influential figure VeryDarkMan and have since been circulated widely.

However, in a statement released on Tuesday, Blessing CEO categorically denied the accusations, stating that she does not partake in drugs, smoking, or drinking.

She expressed her frustration at the rumours, saying that they were unfair and damaging to her reputation.

The businesswoman did not elaborate on the circumstances of her detention or the reasons behind the allegations.

Premium Times Nigeria first reported on the story, and attributed the allegations to unnamed sources.

It is not clear whether an investigation into the claims has been launched, or if any evidence has been presented to support them.
