DHQ Launches Online Discount Shop for Troops, Veterans, and Families

In a significant move aimed at boosting the morale and welfare of Nigerian military personnel, the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has launched an online discount shop. The initiative was officially launched in Abuja by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, according to Tribune Online. The online platform offers exclusive discounts on a range of goods and services, including electronics, fashion items, and household appliances, to active troops, veterans, and their families. This move is expected to alleviate some financial burdens faced by these individuals, contributing to improved living conditions for military personnel and their families. It remains unclear when the facility began operating or if it will be accessible to civilians in the future.
