In a bid to curb the potential spread of Ebola, SUNU Health Nigeria, a leading healthcare provider, has called on Nigerians to stay vigilant following the confirmation of a case in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), according to Punch Newspapers. The organisation urged citizens to follow preventive measures, including avoiding close contact with anyone showing symptoms of the disease, washing hands frequently, and wearing protective clothing if necessary.
Additionally, the Kano Disease Centre has echoed these calls for vigilance, as reported by Daily Post Nigeria.
The call for vigilance comes as the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) has postponed an Abuja conference due to the ongoing Ebola outbreak, as reported by another Daily Post Nigeria report.
