Jigawa Strikes $10 Million Deal with Indian Firm for Modern Hatchery Construction

According to PM News Nigeria, the Jigawa State Government has signed a significant agreement with an Indian firm to construct a modern hatchery. The deal, valued at $10 million, will see the Indian firm provide the necessary infrastructure for a state-of-the-art hatchery in Jigawa. The move is expected to boost the poultry industry in the region and potentially improve food security. This development follows the increasing attention being paid to agriculture and agribusiness in Nigeria. However, it’s unclear when the project will commence or when the facility is expected to become operational.
