Mike Adenuga, Nigeria’s second-richest man, is known for his vast business empire spanning telecommunications, oil, and real estate. However, his philanthropic endeavors, through the Mike Adenuga Foundation, are equally noteworthy. According to Premium Times Nigeria, the foundation’s core programme interests are entrepreneurship, education, health, and rural development. Through these initiatives, Adenuga creates and supports initiatives that deliver knowledge, skills, resources, and infrastructure that drive enterprise, facilitate commerce, stimulate innovation, and improve living conditions.

The foundation also targets vulnerable groups, including Internally Displaced Persons, disaster relief, and national health crises. For instance, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation donated medical equipment and supplies to various hospitals and health facilities across Nigeria.

Earlier this year, the foundation announced a partnership with the Nigerian government to provide digital skills training to 100,000 Nigerian youths. This initiative aims to equip young Nigerians with the necessary skills to participate in the digital economy.
