Ned Nwoko Issues Strong Warning Against False Reports About Regina’s Health, Death or Personal Life

Nigerian billionaire businessman and politician, Ned Nwoko, has issued a stern warning against the spread of false reports concerning the health, death, or personal life of his wife, actress Regina Daniels. In a statement reported by Premium Times Nigeria, Nwoko expressed his displeasure at the proliferation of fabricated reports about his wife, stating that such reports were causing her emotional distress. The lawmaker further warned that those responsible for spreading these false reports could face legal action.

The statement read:

I have read several false reports about Regina’s health, death, and personal life, and I find it disturbing that some people would stoop so low as to create such stories. These false reports are causing her emotional distress and I will not tolerate it. Those responsible for spreading these false reports should be aware that they will face legal action.

This is not the first time Nwoko has spoken out against false reports about his family. In October 2022, he issued a similar warning after rumors spread that Regina Daniels was pregnant with twins. At that time, Nwoko also threatened legal action against those responsible for spreading the false information.

Premium Times Nigeria has not reported when Regina Daniels began experiencing health issues, but it is known that she was hospitalized in the United States in June 2021 for what was described as a ‘routine checkup.’ According to the report, she was discharged a few days later and returned to Nigeria. It is unclear whether the current reports of her health are related to this previous hospitalization.
