NGX Group’s Profit Skyrockets by 86.5% to N14.69bn

The Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group) has reported a significant increase in profit after tax to N14.69 billion in the nine months ended September 30, 2026, according to a report by Tribune Online. The increase, which represents a near-doubling of the group’s profits, is attributed to a sharp increase in transaction fees that boosted revenue and strengthened earnings. The unaudited financial statements showed that profit after tax rose by 86.5 percent, from N7.88 billion in the corresponding period last year. This impressive growth is expected to boost investor confidence in the Nigerian exchange market. It’s worth noting that the surge in profit comes amidst growing competition in the Nigerian financial sector, making NGX Group’s performance even more noteworthy. Read more on Tribune Online
