Nigeria Hosts Africa’s Leading Women Golfers at AACT 2026

Nigeria has been chosen to host Africa’s leading women golfers yet again, as the country plays host to the 2026 African Amateur Championship Tour (AACT). According to Blueprint Newspapers, this will be the second time Nigeria is hosting the event since its inception.

The AACT is a significant tournament that brings together female golfers from across Africa. The event serves as a platform for showcasing talent, fostering camaraderie, and promoting women’s golf on the continent.

In 2018, Nigeria hosted the inaugural edition of the AACT, which was held at IBB International Golf and Country Club in Abuja. The tournament witnessed a strong turnout of participants from various African countries, making it a resounding success.

Blueprint Newspapers did not provide details about the venue for this year’s edition. However, with the success of the previous event, expectations are high that the 2026 tournament will be equally impressive.
