Nigeria’s Progress Remains Elusive: Uzodimma Amid Tinubu’s Reforms

In a stark admission, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, who also chairs the Progressive Governors’ Forum, declared that Nigeria remains a work in progress. Speaking at the third Raymond Dokpesi Lecture in Abuja on Sunday, Uzodimma acknowledged the country’s ongoing struggles despite President Bola Tinubu’s reform initiatives. According to Daily Post Nigeria, Uzodimma’s remarks underscore the challenges Nigeria faces in overcoming its myriad issues.

Uzodimma’s acknowledgement comes as Nigeria navigates a period of significant political and economic transformation under Tinubu’s leadership. As the country continues to grapple with issues such as insecurity, corruption, and economic disparity, Uzodimma’s comments serve as a reminder that Nigeria’s progress is a work in progress.
