The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Bauchi State Branch, has inducting 800 newly graduated engineers from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, according to a report by THISDAYLIVE. The ceremony, which took place recently, emphasized the importance of integrity and national development for the young engineers. In a speech delivered during the induction, the Chairman of NSE Bauchi Branch, Engr. Musa Abdulazeez, encouraged the graduates to uphold the professional standards and ethics of the engineering profession, and to strive for excellence in their chosen careers. He also urged them to contribute positively to the development of Nigeria, using their skills and knowledge to tackle the country’s challenges and drive its progress. The induction of the 800 engineers marks a significant milestone for the ATBU Engineering Department, and a testament to the university’s commitment to producing high-quality graduates who can make a positive impact in the engineering profession and in Nigeria as a whole. The importance of this ceremony lies in the role that engineers play in shaping the future of Nigeria, particularly in areas such as infrastructure development, energy, and technology. By encouraging these new graduates to prioritize integrity and national development, the NSE is setting a strong foundation for the next generation of Nigerian engineers.
