Omo-Agege Calls for Investigation into Death of Delta Director

In a statement released on Sunday, September 26th, Omo-Agege expressed concern over the death of Unity Ekpevbughe Adeda, describing it as ‘a death that demands answers.’ The Deputy Director reportedly passed away under mysterious circumstances.

According to Vanguard News, Omo-Agege, who is running for the Delta Central Senatorial seat on the platform of the New Nigeria Democratic Coalition (NDC), has urged the authorities to conduct a transparent investigation into Adeda’s death. He expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

This development comes amidst ongoing political campaigns ahead of the 2027 general elections in Nigeria. It is unclear whether Adeda’s death is related to politics, but Omo-Agege’s call for justice highlights the need for accountability and transparency in public office.

Vanguard News did not report any details about the circumstances surrounding Adeda’s death or the ongoing investigation. The Delta State government has also not issued a statement regarding the matter.
