Peter Obi Accuses Tinubu Administration of Normalizing Collapse and Corruption

In a speech at a town hall meeting in Imo State, the NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi claimed that Nigeria is collapsing under the current administration, with insecurity and corruption becoming the norm.

In a speech at a town hall meeting in Imo State, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, accused the current administration under President Bola Tinubu of allowing corruption and collapse to become normal. Obi, who was the former governor of Anambra State, lamented that insecurity and the stealing of public funds have become commonplace under the Tinubu administration. The NDC candidate made the statement on Saturday during the ongoing town hall meeting in Imo State. According to Daily Post Nigeria, this is not the first time Obi has criticized the Tinubu administration. In the past, he has accused the administration of failing to address the country’s economic challenges and of prioritizing personal interests over the needs of Nigerians. The NDC is one of several political parties vying for power in the upcoming general elections, which are expected to take place in 2027.
