Stuttgart Defender Singles Out Osimhen as a Top Global Striker

In a pre-match interview, Stuttgart defender Maximilian Mittelstädt has hailed Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, as one of the finest strikers in world football. The German left-back’s praise comes ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash with Turkish side, Galatasaray, scheduled for next week.

According to Daily Post Nigeria, Mittelstädt acknowledged the threat posed by the Nigerian forward, praising his consistency, attacking quality, and impressive performances over the past few seasons.

Osimhen, who plays for Napoli in the Italian Serie A, has been in top form this season, scoring 12 goals in 15 appearances for the club.

Mittelstädt’s comments underscore the respect Osimhen has earned among his peers in Europe. The Nigerian forward has been instrumental in Napoli’s strong start to the season, with the team currently sitting atop the Serie A table.
