After weeks of competition and suspense, 21-year-old Temi Nkem was crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 during the live grand finale on Sunday night. According to multiple reports from Premium Times Nigeria, Vanguard News, Tribune Online, and Daily Post Nigeria, she polled 25.87% of the total votes from viewers in Nigeria and across Africa to claim the title and the N160 million prize package.
Born in London but with Nigerian roots, Temi has made history as the first UK-born contestant to win BBNaija. Before her time in the Big Brother house, she was a student at the University of Leeds, studying Law and Business Management. During her stay in the house, she charmed viewers with her wit, charm, and resilience.
Throughout the season, Temi formed close bonds with other housemates such as Sheba, Aikou, Ricky, and Oyin. However, it was ultimately her personality and strategic gameplay that won over the hearts of millions of viewers.
As she stepped out of the Big Brother house and into the arms of Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, host of the show, Temi expressed her gratitude to fans and supporters. She promised to use her winnings to invest in various businesses and charitable causes.
