Tinubu: Nigeria’s Correction Course Leads to Prosperity

In a significant national broadcast, President Bola Tinubu stated that Nigeria has ‘corrected its course’, implying a shift towards a more promising future. The announcement came during the country’s 66th Independence Anniversary celebration on October 1, 2026. According to THISDAYLIVE, Tinubu urged Nigerians not to dwell on past challenges but to look ahead with renewed faith.

Vanguard News reported that in his address, President Tinubu declared that Nigeria had ‘passed through its own Red Sea’, a metaphorical reference to the country’s trials and tribulations. He called upon Nigerians to move forward, expressing optimism about the nation’s future.

Daily Post Nigeria corroborated these statements, quoting Tinubu as saying that ‘prosperity is next’ for Nigeria following its passage through its own Red Sea.
