Unilever Nigeria’s Profit Surges 20% to N26.4bn, Declares N11.5bn Dividend

Unilever Nigeria Plc, one of Nigeria’s leading consumer goods manufacturers, has reported a significant surge in its net profit for the first three quarters of 2026. According to a report by Tribune Online, the company’s net profit increased by 20% to N26.4 billion, up from N22 billion in the same period last year. This impressive growth was driven by a rise in revenue to N184 billion, an increase from N153 billion in 2025. Tribune Online reports that the improved margins strengthened the company’s profitability despite mounting pressure on household spending. The unaudited financial results showed that the company’s revenue increased by 19.7% year-on-year.

In addition to the profit increase, Unilever Nigeria also declared a dividend of N11.5 billion for the period under review. This represents a 14% increase compared to the N10.1 billion dividend paid out in the same period last year.

Unilever Nigeria’s strong performance in the first three quarters of 2026 is a testament to the company’s resilience and adaptability in the face of economic challenges. The company’s focus on innovation, quality, and sustainability continues to drive its growth and profitability. This positive news is likely to be welcomed by shareholders and investors, and it underscores Unilever Nigeria’s commitment to delivering value to its stakeholders.
