Governor Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has defended the cross-party coalition supporting President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, stating it would boost, not undermine, APC governors. This follows reports of the coalition, which includes Wike, Soludo, and Adeleke, despite belonging to PDP, APGA, and Accord Party respectively, coordinating Tinubu’s re-election campaign in their respective states. According to Premium Times Nigeria, earlier on Tuesday, the trio was named as members of the APC Presidential Campaign Council. Governor Wike’s stance suggests a united front in the lead-up to the 2027 elections, despite political differences.
