Governor Wike’s Scholarship Recipient Tops ABUAD Law Graduates

Governor Nyesom Wike’s scholarship programme continues to bear fruit, as one of its beneficiaries, Nengi Donald Jaja, has made history at the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD). Jaja, who received the scholarship in 2017, has emerged as the overall best graduating student of the College of Law at ABUAD. According to the Tribune Online, Jaja’s excellent academic performance has been a testament to Wike’s commitment to investing in education. It is noteworthy that Jaja’s achievement comes at a time when the Rivers State Government, under Wike’s leadership, is striving to improve the standard of education in the state. This story matters to Nigerian readers because it highlights the impact of government investment in education, and offers inspiration to young scholars who may be beneficiaries of similar programmes.
