XEJet Limited, a premium airline, has launched its inaugural flight service to Gusau, marking the establishment of a direct air link between Abuja and Zamfara State. According to THISDAYLIVE, this development is set to make travel to the northern state more convenient for passengers. However, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has not yet confirmed the new route.
The launch of this new service by XEJet is the latest in a series of efforts to improve air travel in Nigeria. In recent years, the country has seen a growing number of domestic airlines, as well as the introduction of new routes and services. This expansion is part of a broader push to modernize Nigeria’s aviation sector and boost its economic growth.
According to the Independent Newspaper Nigeria, the new route is expected to stimulate economic activity in Zamfara State by making it easier for people to travel to the region. However, the long-term impact of the new service remains to be seen.
XEJet, which was founded in 2020, has been expanding its operations rapidly in recent months. The airline operates a fleet of modern aircraft and offers a range of services, including business class and economy class options. The airline’s new route to Gusau is part of its strategy to expand its network and increase its market share in Nigeria.
