2027: Tinubu Support Rally Gains Momentum in South-South
A group is rallying support for President Tinubu's re-election in 2027, particularly among South-South youths and women.

A group calling itself ‘Tinubu Must Stay’ has launched a campaign to garner support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, particularly among youths and women in the South-South region, according to Punch Newspapers. The group, led by the South-South Zonal Coordinator, Ogie Clement, is encouraging Nigerians to back the President’s bid for a second term. This development comes as speculation mounts over Tinubu’s political future, with many anticipating his potential re-election bid. However, it is worth noting that Tinubu has not yet formally declared his intention to run for another term. While the President’s supporters rally, it remains to be seen whether he will indeed seek re-election and if so, what the outcome might be. In a separate report, Google News announced a leadership course for African women leaders, set to take place in Abuja, Nigeria in 2027. This program, called the Katherine Fleming Women’s Leadership Course, aims to empower women leaders across the continent.
