The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, known as Mbah in some circles, visited the venues hosting the National Sports Festival on Tuesday. According to Premium Times Nigeria, Mbah expressed satisfaction with the facilities’ readiness ahead of the Games scheduled for 27th November to 11th December 2026.
During his tour, Mbah reportedly checked various sports arenas, including athletics tracks, swimming pools, and tennis courts. He also inspected accommodations for athletes and officials. The Minister reassured Nigerians that the facilities would be world-class when the games begin.
‘I am very impressed with what I have seen so far,’ Mbah told reporters after the inspection. ‘The facilities are ready, and we will deliver a world-class event.’
Mbah also assured of the readiness of all the facilities ahead of the Games slated for 27th November to 11th December 2026.
