Police Rescue Kidnapped Victim in Rivers State After ₦10.3 Million Ransom Payment

In a major breakthrough, the Rivers State Police Force has successfully rescued a kidnap victim and arrested two suspects linked to a kidnapping syndicate operating in Port Harcourt. According to Punch Newspapers, the syndicate demanded and received a ransom of ₦10.3 million before abducting the victim. The police are reportedly still on the hunt for four other members of the gang. This development comes amidst increasing concerns about the surge in kidnappings across Nigeria, particularly in Rivers State. The authorities have vowed to intensify efforts to apprehend these criminal elements and ensure the safety of all citizens.
