Fans of renowned Nigerian musician Davido are threatening to boycott his December concerts in Lagos due to the political stance of his uncle, Ademola Adeleke. The backlash followed Davido’s announcement of a three-night Lagos residency, as critics revived his previous remarks against All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters in Osun state. According to Premium Times Nigeria, the fans have expressed their displeasure on social media, citing Adeleke’s support for Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, as the reason for the boycott threat. Adeleke, a senator representing Osun West, recently declared his support for Tinubu during the APC primary elections. Davido, however, has not publicly commented on the situation. This development could potentially impact Davido’s concerts, which are anticipated to draw large crowds during the festive season.
