NDC Lawyers Demand Investigation of INEC Official in Kano Over Inconsistent Reports

The Kano State chapter of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has requested an investigation into an Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) official over allegedly inconsistent reports during the recent elections. According to THISDAYLIVE, the lawyers claim that the official, identified as Ahmad Sorondinki, has provided multiple conflicting reports, which they argue could undermine the electoral process. The NDC lawyers have penned a petition to the INEC Chairman, demanding a thorough probe into the matter. This development comes amidst heightened tensions surrounding the electoral process in Kano, with multiple parties alleging irregularities and fraud. The INEC has not yet commented on the petition or the alleged inconsistent reports.
