According to reports from THISDAYLIVE and Nigeria Info FM, an air strike conducted by the Nigerian military has resulted in the death of 15 terrorists in Borno State, north-west of Pulka in Gwoza Local Government Area. The precision air strike, which is part of Operation Hadin Kai, targeted a group of terrorists, killing 15 and leaving others injured.
The reports do not specify the exact date of the air strike, but it is believed to have occurred recently. The Nigerian military has not yet provided further details on the operation.
This development comes amidst ongoing efforts by the Nigerian military to combat terrorism and insurgency in the North-East region of the country. The Boko Haram insurgency, which began in 2009, has claimed thousands of lives and displaced millions of people. The military has been working to restore peace and stability in the region.
The air strike is a significant development in the ongoing fight against terrorism in Borno State. While the death of 15 terrorists is a step in the right direction, it is important to note that more needs to be done to completely eradicate terrorism in the region. The Nigerian military will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of the citizens of Borno State and the entire country.
