APC Factions United Behind Tinubu’s Re-election: Oshiomhole Insists

In an interview with reporters in Abuja, Oshiomhole dismissed claims of disputes within the party over campaign positions and youth leadership as mere distractions. He defended Tinubu’s decision to limit campaign rallies, saying it was part of a strategic approach to manage the crowd and ensure safety.

‘There is unity in the APC, and we are all working towards ensuring Tinubu’s re-election. The reports of discord within the party are mere rumours and should be disregarded.’, Oshiomhole said.

Oshiomhole’s assurance comes after weeks of speculations of a possible split within the APC over the party’s youth leadership and campaign positions. However, the former Edo State governor dismissed these claims, saying they were not based on facts.

This assertion by Oshiomhole may help to calm the nerves of party faithful, who have been worried about the prospects of a possible split in the APC, which could jeopardize Tinubu’s re-election bid.
