Transfer Rumors: Top European Clubs Eye Osimhen with High Salary Demand – Ümit Özat

Fenerbahçe legend Ümit Özat has hinted at a potential transfer saga involving Nigerian international Victor Osimhen and some of Europe’s top clubs. In an interview, Özat claimed that Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, Barcelona, Chelsea, and Manchester United could all be interested in the Galatasaray striker, but only if Osimhen is prepared to accept a staggering 10-million-euro-a-year salary offer. Daily Post Nigeria reported on Özat’s comments, but it is worth noting that neither the clubs nor Osimhen have confirmed any such negotiations. Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a permanent transfer from Serie A side Napoli last year, and has since scored 18 goals in 35 appearances for the Turkish club.

While the possibility of Osimhen moving to one of Europe’s elite clubs is certainly intriguing, it remains to be seen whether the salary demands outlined by Özat are accurate or if any formal talks have taken place. For now, Osimhen and Galatasaray fans will no doubt be hoping that the striker remains in Istanbul for the foreseeable future.
