2027 Elections: Rufai Oseni Blasts Tinubu, Atiku, Peter Obi for Lack of Manifestos
Arise News anchor Rufai Oseni has criticized the major presidential candidates for the 2027 elections – President Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi – for failing to present manifestos.

Arise News anchor, Rufai Oseni, has taken a harsh stance against President Bola Tinubu, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, and his Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) counterpart, Peter Obi. In a video posted on social media, Oseni criticized the three for not presenting any manifestos ahead of the 2027 general elections, saying it was shameful. This comes amidst speculation and political analysis suggesting President Tinubu will win the election, as reported by Jibrin Barau, the Deputy Senate President.
While the Tinubu campaign has not yet released a manifesto, some political analysts believe that the President’s policies during his first term, particularly his focus on infrastructure development and anti-corruption efforts, will be key selling points. However, Oseni’s criticism highlights the importance of a clear, detailed manifesto in the run-up to the elections.
It’s worth noting that Atiku Abubakar has also not released a manifesto, and Peter Obi’s campaign has yet to provide a comprehensive policy platform. As the elections approach, Nigerian voters will be looking for clear indications of what each candidate plans to do if elected.
