ADC Accuses APC of Promoting Fear to Discourage Voting in 2027

In a bold move, the African Democratic Congress Presidential Campaign Council (ADC-PCC) has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of promoting fear to discourage Nigerians from participating in the 2027 general elections. According to Daily Post Nigeria, the ADC-PCC urged eligible voters not to believe claims that the outcome of the elections has already been decided. Instead, they were encouraged to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and actively participate in the voting process. The ADC-PCC vowed to resist any attempts to manipulate the elections in favour of the APC. The call comes after recent reports of voter apathy and concerns about the integrity of Nigeria’s electoral process. It is unclear whether the APC has responded to these allegations. This story matters to Nigerian readers because it highlights the importance of active participation in the electoral process and the need to resist any attempts to undermine the democratic process.
