ADC Vows to Reject Electoral Fraud in 2027

According to a report by THISDAYLIVE, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has vowed to challenge any form of electoral fraud in the 2027 general elections. The party’s presidential candidate, Yabagi Sani, made this known at a town hall meeting in Kaduna.

Sani, who expressed concerns over the credibility of Nigeria’s electoral process, emphasized the need for free, fair, and transparent elections. He stated that the ADC would not accept any results that are manipulated or rigged, and would resist such attempts.

This stance by the ADC comes amidst growing concerns over the integrity of Nigeria’s electoral system. The party’s stance on electoral integrity echoes that of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NSCIA), which has recently called for the establishment of state police to bolster security during elections.

The ADC’s commitment to upholding electoral integrity could potentially set a precedent for other political parties and bolster public confidence in the electoral process. However, it remains to be seen whether other parties will follow suit and commit to combating electoral fraud.
