Court Orders Wike’s Son Jordan to Produce American Passport in $2.1m Abuja Land Fraud Suit

In a significant development, the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered Rotimi Amaechi’s son, Jordan Amaechi, to produce his American passport as part of investigations into a $2.1 million land fraud suit involving Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike. According to Sahara Reporters, the court made this order during a hearing on Tuesday, September 30th. However, it’s unclear when the legal proceedings began or the exact nature of the land dispute.

The court’s decision comes amidst escalating political tensions between the governors of Rivers State and Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, who is a close ally of President Buhari. The suit, which has been described as a ‘major blow’ to Wike by Sahara Reporters, may further strain relations between the two powerful political figures.

PM News Nigeria also reported on this development, providing further evidence of the ongoing court case. Despite the progress made in the legal proceedings, it remains uncertain whether Jordan Amaechi will comply with the court order or how this will impact the ongoing land dispute.
