Dangote Refinery IPO Offers Free Shares to Nigerian Students

The Aliko Dangote Foundation has announced a unique initiative aimed at encouraging financial literacy and long-term wealth creation among Nigerian youth. According to reports in Nigeria Business (News Google) and Tribune Online (Tribune Online), the Student Share Grant Initiative will provide free shares of the upcoming Dangote Refinery IPO to Nigerian students aged 18 and above. This move is expected to deepen financial literacy, foster a culture of long-term wealth creation, and offer young Nigerians an opportunity to become investors early in their lives. The exact number of free shares each student will receive has not been disclosed.
