Government Seeks Consultancy for Establishing National IT-Enabled Services Industry

The Nigerian government is seeking a consultant to establish a National Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) and High-Value IT-Enabled Services Industry as part of the Outsource To Nigeria Initiative (OTNI). According to Premium Times, this move aims to boost the country’s capacity in the global outsourcing market. The REOI was issued under the iDICE programme, which focuses on digital innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship. This development could potentially create numerous job opportunities and contribute to Nigeria’s economic growth. It is unclear when the REOI was published or when responses are due.

In a related development, the government also seeks a consultancy for Independent Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), Technology and Creative Sector services under the iDICE programme. This could help ensure the successful implementation of projects and assess their impact on Nigeria’s digital economy.
