According to a statement made by ADC’s national spokesperson, Yabah Kpautagi, governors should prioritize the welfare and security of citizens in their states instead of being distracted by political activities at the federal level. Kpautagi urged governors to ensure that such incidents do not occur again in their states, stressing the need for improved monitoring and oversight of security agencies within their domains.
This call comes after news broke out about the death of over 20 artisanal miners in the NSCDC facility, sparking widespread outrage and calls for a thorough investigation into the cause of their deaths.
