Kano State Refunds N327,178 to Each of 500 Intending Pilgrims for 2027 Hajj

According to Punch Newspapers, the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced that it will refund N327,178 to each of 500 intending pilgrims who made excess deposits for the 2027 Hajj exercise. The Board made this decision due to an overpayment in deposits made by these pilgrims. The refund is expected to bring some relief to the affected pilgrims who were burdened with the excess payments. This move is significant as it demonstrates the Board’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and fair Hajj experience for all pilgrims. The refund process is yet to be detailed, but it is expected to commence soon.
