Vice President Kashim Shettima is currently leading a Nigerian delegation to Ethiopia for a peer exchange focused on accelerating nutrition delivery. According to Punch Newspapers, the Vice President departed from Abuja on October 6th, bound for Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s capital. This development comes as part of efforts to bolster Nigeria’s nutrition sector.
The exact details of the exchange programme have not been disclosed by either the Nigerian government or the Ethiopian authorities. However, Punch Newspapers reports that the Vice President is expected to engage with Ethiopian officials on best practices and strategies for improving nutrition delivery.
It is worth noting that this visit is not the only high-level exchange between Nigeria and Ethiopia at the moment.
