In a rally on Saturday, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State praised President Bola Tinubu for delivering on key campaign promises to the state and the North. According to Premium Times Nigeria, Sani spoke at the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally at Ranchers Stadium, Kaduna.
Sani highlighted road construction and improved security as areas where Tinubu has made significant strides in Kaduna.
According to THISDAYLIVE, Vice-President Kashim Shettima also attended the rally and voiced his support for Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
The Punch Newspapers also reported on Sani’s remarks, citing improved security and road construction as examples of Tinubu’s fulfilled promises.
Tribune Online also reported on the rally, with Sani stating that the people of Northern Nigeria will repay Tinubu for his administration’s interventions in the region.
The support from Sani and Shettima, both key political figures in the North, could bolster Tinubu’s re-election campaign in the region. The 2027 general elections are less than a year away, and Tinubu will be seeking re-election.
