In a recent video statement, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has criticized the Federal Government of Nigeria over the level of hardship in the country. According to Daily Post Nigeria, Ayodele stated that everything is not going well under the current government and that Nigerians are in serious pain. The man of God, who is known for his prophetic insights, accused the government of not addressing the root causes of the problems facing the nation. "I am crying because Nigerians are suffering," Ayodele said in the video. "Everything is not going well in Nigeria under this government." The statement comes as the 2027 general elections approach, with many political parties already gearing up for the polls. Ayodele, however, urged the government to prioritize the welfare of the citizens and to focus on solving the numerous challenges facing the nation. The government has not responded to Ayodele’s comments. This is not the first time Ayodele has criticized the government. In the past, he has spoken out against the government’s handling of security issues, the economy, and the welfare of citizens. "If the government does not listen to the voice of the people, there will be a revolution," Ayodele warned in a previous statement. As the 2027 elections approach, the issue of hardship is likely to be a major concern for voters. The government will need to address the concerns of the citizens if it is to secure their votes.
