President Tinubu Welcomes World Bank Report on Economic Reforms Yielding Results

President Bola Tinubu has welcomed a report by the World Bank that confirms the economic reforms his administration has implemented are yielding positive results. The report, titled ‘Beyond the Federal Purse: How Higher Revenues Reshaped State Priorities’, highlights improvements in economic growth, revenue generation and fiscal management. According to the Voice of Nigeria, President Tinubu welcomed the report, stating that it is further evidence of the success of his government’s economic policies. The report comes as Nigeria continues to struggle with economic challenges, including high inflation and unemployment rates. The president’s administration has been pushing for reforms to boost the economy and attract foreign investment. It remains unclear what specific reforms the World Bank report is referring to, and the National Assembly has not yet commented on the report. However, the president’s welcome of the report is a positive sign for those hoping for continued economic progress in Nigeria.
