First HoldCo Appoints New Non-Executive Director

Nigeria’s First HoldCo, one of the country’s leading investment firms, has announced the appointment of a new non-executive director. According to a statement released by the company, the appointment was made in accordance with the guidelines set by the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) Rulebook. The new appointee, whose identity was not disclosed in the statement, is expected to bring a wealth of experience and fresh perspectives to the company’s board. First HoldCo’s decision to appoint a new non-executive director is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its governance structure and enhance its performance. The development comes at a critical time for the company, as it seeks to expand its footprint in the Nigerian market and beyond. This appointment is a testament to First HoldCo’s commitment to maintaining high corporate governance standards and ensuring sustainable growth. It remains unclear when the new non-executive director will assume office or whether they will replace an existing board member. Premium Times Nigeria reports that this is the first such appointment by First HoldCo since its listing on the Nigerian Exchange Limited in 2022.
