NASS Roundup: Ebola, Corps Member’s Death, Abuja Rent Crisis, and Other Matters Discussed

In its second week back from recess, the House of Representatives tackled a variety of pressing public matters. One of the key issues that garnered attention was the Ebola virus outbreak, which has prompted calls for the government to step up efforts to prevent its spread. The House also expressed concern over the death of a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member in Abuja, and discussed the rising rent crisis in the capital city. According to Premium Times, the House is planning to engage with relevant agencies to address these issues, and has also called for increased transparency in government operations. The House’s efforts to address these matters demonstrate a commitment to the well-being of Nigerian citizens and a recognition of the urgent need for action on these pressing issues.
