Expected Liquidity Boost: N2.81tn Set to Flow into Nigeria’s Money Market

The Debt Management Office (DMO) is expected to inject a substantial amount of liquidity into Nigeria’s money market this week, according to THISDAYLIVE. The financial institution is offering N800 billion in Treasury bills today, which is likely to bring in N2.81 trillion in total. This move is seen as a test of investor appetite, particularly amidst ongoing economic uncertainties. The influx of funds could have a significant impact on the country’s money market, providing much-needed relief in the face of various economic challenges. It is important to note that the DMO has not yet commented on when the facility began operating.
