According to multiple reports, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the national leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, has passed away at the age of 100. The Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, announced his death in a statement on Tuesday. This news comes after a lifetime of service and advocacy for the Yoruba people. Fasoranti was a disciple of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, and became a prominent figure in the Afenifere movement.
